Emmett Cullen walked into the Forks High lunchroom with a grace that surprised many. Most people of his size barreled forward when they walked. Emmett did not even as he cut his way through the crowd toward the cafeteria. His golden eyes scanned the room for Rose and the rest of his family. It seemed he was the first to arrive today.
That was fine with him, there truely was no rush. He would imply get food, stare at it, and then throw it away like every other day. Sometimes he longed for something, anything, to break up the monotomy. He had been through high school arleady and didn't learn much more each time he cycled through. The people, their motives, interested him far more. Edward likely understood them better with his ability to read their thoughts. It was annoying sometimes but, anything Emmett thought, he usually said any way. Edward rarely heard things that were private and when his brother did, Edward was pretty good about tuning certain things out.
Emmett would not trade places with Edward for the world, he thought as he grabbed food from the munch lady and moved on to pay. When the transaction was completed, Emmett moved to the table he normally shared with his family and waited for them to arrive.

Walking out of class, Alice gracefully made her way to the cafeteria, where her family usually sat together ... not eating a thing. They never touched the plate of food that sat in front of them at the table, Alice and her family acted like the food didn't sit in front of them. Emmett was already in there, even before Alice opened the doors and head over to the table. Her special talents. She walked in, hopping in the food line and then went to join Emmett as the table.
Emmett was Alice's older 'brother'. He was the different sort of brother compared to Edward. Emmett couldn't read the thoughts of others ... and he didn't bribe his younger sister into doing things, or in this condition, not doing things. But Alice admired Emmett, after all, they were siblings ... and they were close.
Alice looked at Emmett and gave a small smile. She was still thinking about what she saw about Bella and what she had said to Edward ... and of course his reaction towards it. But Alice was going to keep quiet about it ... unless hassled. "Hey Emmett." she said simply, her smile growing bigger. She was very good with hiding things ... but when it came to family ... she didn't really know how good she was.

An adventure, with high standards and risks. That is what life should be. Or it is nothing. Approaching it with an open mind and a free spirit. Being ready to jump into something unknown. It is fait. That is why it exists. The things you can't see. The things that are soundless. What the soul consents. Along with it. Strength. And strength is undefeatable. Edward was in his car when the bell had rang. He had been listening to his stereo, which currently played his range of acoustics. It was lunchtime. He would've rathered to stay with Bella, but he was not in the mood. His newest brother was facing trials in his life and he felt helpless. To top it off, he was yet again obligated to continue his charade alongside his family. He walked upto the cafeteria, noticing the Newton Boy. That vile, insignificant boy. Oh how he wished to... Edward wished that Bella would not mind him not spending the day with her, although he had not yet discussed the issues. But when the matter was over, he would be sure to confide in her. It was only until school was finished, then he would rush off to her house yet again. How bad could it be? He reached the usual table that he and his family constantly sat at. He did not bother with the food props today. Needless to say, he was not hungry, not that for that kind of food at least. His favoured brother Emmet and sister Alice were already there. Edward favoured Emmet because he had known him for much longer, that to be the obvious. But Emmet carried an atmosphere with him that lifted heavy situations. Of course his other brother could do that too, but Emmet did it more innocently. Nevertheless, they were both his brothers and Edward had unconditional love for both. He smiled, at his two siblings " Emmet, Alice." Edward looked out the window, trying not to investigate the thoughts of those around him. " What's on the agenda for today?"

A success. The sensation was controllable. He fought of the urges, with his love. My time is precious. My life is grand. Tomorrow is always brighter. Love always triumphs in the end. The school bell rang, and Jasper knew it was time for lunch. Something that didn’t bother him, because all he did was sit down and watch the tray of food as if it liked moved. Which it didn’t. Bummer. He was leaning against the building in the front of the school, far away from the school parking lot; where he figured Edward would be. He was trying to calm himself down, and think positive. Today had been such a better day compared to the past week. It was perfect, actually. He was watching the cars on the highway and smiling to himself. “Must be only going 55, wimps,” he said out loud to himself. “I go faster than that.”
He laughed and ran his fingers through his blonde hair. Today, he decided he wasn’t going to get a tray, but just head over to the table.
Jasper made his way to the doors and walked inside. He made a turn pass the gym and headed towards the school cafeteria. There he saw a long line, the line for the food in which he didn’t eat. Blood, was his food, his passion, his need for survivial. The girls watched as the tall, handsome, blonde walked pass them. He wanted to be nice, and different today. “Good afternoon, ladies. I hope you don’t mind if I squeeze through,” he spoke softly, and he had heard a bunch of girls swoon at his voice. He smiled and opened the door to the cafeteria and began walking towards his usual table.
Bella Swan was sitting with her goofy friends, Mike, Jessica, and everyone else. It didn’t bother him much, he stopped to see who all was at his table. He hoped he wasn’t the first, and surprisingly he wasn’t. Emmett was there, he was always last, but today it looked as if Rosalie was last. He began to make his way over there, but was caught off guard when a girl and her friend walked by him. They happened to flip their hair in his direction. Jasper stumbled backwards in shock. Strawberry-Kiwi, was the blonde and Honey was the burnette… oh no! Not again. I could take them to the gym… NO! Stop it, Jasper. Control yourself. They are not worth it, life is better. Calm down. Ease up, think of Alice. Yes, Alice. Think of how painful she would look if you attacked. Better. he thought. He looked over and wasn’t surprised to see Edward looking at him.
Jasper walked over to his table triumphly and grinned. “Edward. Alice. Emmett. Good Day to you,” he said happily. Today, he controlled his emotions, his feelings, his sensation. Edward must have been proud at that, and Jasper knew he was ecstatic that he had done the impossible. Or now the possible.
