Peace. Quiet. Alone. Three things I thought I was going to have tonight. You arrived, I hungered for thrist. Shocked to see I was going to attack my kind, again. I am the weakest. Can I prove them wrong? The rain had finally started to dwindle down, and it was just sprinkling. The sun was starting to set, as the imhuman being arrived into the woody lands. A place where wildlife was always roaming. Rabbits, Mountain Lions, Grizzly Bears, Raccoons, maybe a wolf or two. But, who would want to feed on a wolf. The trees were letting very little light into the clearing in the woods, and there stood a tall lanky figure looking around for a place to begin. Time for hunting, thought the person who stood there. That person was…
Jasper Hale. It was odd for someone so handsome and remarkable to be standing out in the middle of the woods when the sun was going down; looking for an animal. What was he going to do to the animal? Kill it. Jasper was something mythical, something Hollywood Producer’s made evil. A vampire. Well, some vampires were evil and some were not. Jasper fitted in the non-evil vampires. He only fed on animals. Was there a specific kind of animal? No. He just craved any kind of blood. He wasn’t like his brothers Edward and Emmett. They preferred Grizzlies and Moutain Lions. He was pale, his eyes were black and had dark purple circles underneath looking for something to feed on.
“Dam- it, where are all of creatures tonight? This is odd,” he spoke to himself quietly. He placed his hand in his golden locks and pushed them back. Then, he heard something coming from the back of the woods. He turned adbruptively to see if it was a creature, and crouched down into a pounce-like position. This creature was going to be his, no matter what. Nothing could stop Jasper from killing a creature, and that is why his family considered him to be the weakest link of the group. He could instantly hurt a human and not even know, since he was the newest to adapt to this special way of life. The one who he is really cautious about is the girl Edward had been communicating with for awhile. Surprisingly, she was a human, and her name was Bella Swan. A strange human girl, that found out about the family secret. Some of Jasper’s family wasn’t pleased about that, well actually only one. His twin sister- Rosalie Hale.
The noise grew louder, and Jasper got lower with a soft growl emerging from his body. He placed his left hand on the ground and then lifted his eyes towards the direction the noise came from. But, something swept over him giving him a weird feeling. It was a human like feeling, a feeling about Bella. He sighed and sat on the ground. The creature he was planning to attack was his own brother; Edward Cullen. He thought he was going to be able to hunt alone, boy was he wrong. Jasper was sort of glad to have the company of his own brother. It would be interesting, usually he went hunting with just Emmett because they always competed with one another. But, Edward was a different story. They had hunted plenty of times together, but never alone like this. Alice or Esme was always with them. What was going to go down now that Edward was there?

The temptation has dwindled upon him, yet once again. But would he be desperate enough, to act upon his own kind? His own brother? Time is surely taking it's toll; not only for him, but for the rest of us. It's not disappointment I fear for him, my dear brother. Disappoint would be nothing compared to...regret. The only difference that stands between us, is that. The act of impulse. It wasn't everyday that Edward would go out of his way to check up on his brother. But needless to say, he did need to. In the last couple of days, his brother Jasper had been acting rather stressed, so if there were any issues Edward would be happy to help. After all, there were no secrets hidden from Edward. Edward was not quite certain if at this point, Jasper could be wanting the company. Nevertheless, Edward was there. Unwanted or not. As Edward drew in, gathering all of Jasper's thoughts. He could feel the light sprinkle of rain upon on his skin and watched the sun begin to set, there was no doubt. This, Edward appreciated. What was Jasper doing out here? All alone? Surely he knew better than to act on impulse. If he was thirsty, could he have not been patient? “Dam- it, where are all of creatures tonight? This is odd,” Jasper was not far now, his voice was very distinct and rather frustrated. Evidently, not only by the animals. Perhaps himself? Edward searched Jasper's mind for the answer, and with this he received one. Yes, definitely himself. Jasper was at this point, sitting down. "What is Edward doing here?" he thought. " What am I supposed to do now that Edward's here?" another. Edward had recognised this kind of tone in ones thoughts before, more than frequently. The voice of self doubt. Edward stood next to his newest brother, the newest in family that is. He offered a hand; " Shall we hunt?" Edward just casually said. Edward had no reason to be upset with his brother. Nor, did he want his brother to be aggraviated at him. Jasper smiled, took Edward's hand and laughed. "For a second I thought you were an animal, I almost nearly took a bite at you." Edward smiled, his thoughts far away and said simply. " Oh I know."

My feelings are overpowering my abilities. I thought controlling them would ease the pain. But, they make it worse. Are you here to help or to just ridicule me? Surprisingly, it didn’t take long for Jasper to calm down when he saw his brother appear in the clearing. He sat there watching him move gracefully over towards him and smiled. After taking his hand and rising up, he started to laugh. “For a second, I thought you were an animal. I almost nearly took a bite at you,” he said chuckling. He ran his large hand through his blond hair again and smiled. “Oh, I know,” Edward replied back with a smile across his face.
It was kind of surprising to see that Edward was here with him and not watching Bella or getting to know her more. Edward knew Jasper for years, but Bella was only Human after all. He began to walk gracefully towards a darker part of the forest close to Edward. He began to feel the reason why his brother was here with him, it was because he was worried about him. Jasper had been distant for a while and it bothered Edward slightly from what Jasper had been feeling. He couldn’t control is antics of attacking mere humans. But, he wanted to try.
The rain began to pick up again as if the fustration of not finding anything to feed from began to bother Jasper. He couldn’t return to school without having his dose of blood from a creature. It wasn’t safe, he could put the newton boy, the stanley girl, or even Bella Swan in danger. If he ever did anything to Bella, he would be devestated. He could feel how much Edward had fallen for this girl, this girl was strange but in a good way. He could see Bella as a sister and hopefully it happens. She has potential. “So, may I ask what you are doing out here for? I thought you went hunting two days ago with Alice,” he spoke softly, not wanting to get his brother the impression that he shouldn’t be here with him. “I just figured you would be with Bella today, did something come up?” he questioned, as he looked around for his prey. So far nothing.
He continued walking around until he heard a noise from his left, he turned his head back at Edward and then again towards the place where he heard the sound. A mountain lion appeared. Edward’s favorite animal. Jasper wasn’t going to take Edward’s prey. Plus, he didn’t enjoy feeding on that species as it was. “Go ahead, I will find something else if you don’t mind,” he said looking for another prey. He hoped it wouldn’t take him all night either.

The stranger the outcome, the more satisfaction is received. I was there for support and nothing less. Whatever else he needed, I would be there. He no longer is a disappointment nor was he ever. We were on a mission, not to find a beast out there. We were on a mission, to find the beast within. Edward was pleased that his brother did want his company. After all, it was only fair Jasper wanted time by himself. But Edward was only worried about him and didn't want him to put any more pressure than there already was. Edward tried to minimize conversation as less as possible to avoid the awkwardness. Although his brother caught him off guard. “So, may I ask what you are doing out here for? I thought you went hunting two days ago with Alice,” Edward ignored the question, it was obvious enough why he was there. “I just figured you would be with Bella today, did something come up?" Yet again, another obvious question. Bella would be fine without him for a couple of hours. It was his brother that needed the time. Jasper stopped, Edward looked around and discovered why. A mountain lion in the distance. Edward began to approach the beast, knowing that he had victory upon it. It was not Jasper's type. But Edward, immediately stopped. Edward believed that Jasper could tame himself. There was hope afterall. If he could refuse this animals blood, his brother wasn't as desperate for their lifesource as he thought. He would be able to resist if he truly wanted to. Edward charged at the lion, quenching his thirst. But since, he did only hunt two days ago he wasn't at all very thirsty. He turned around, back to his brother. Held out the lion and smiled. " You sure you don't want any?"

My mind was full of confused, unanswered thoughts. It felt like an explosion was going to occur soon, and I couldn't stop it. I turned to you for help, hoping you would grace me with the chance for communication. Is it possible to mend the heart of a vampire? Jasper watched his brother out of the corner of his eye, it bothered him that he didn’t respond to the questions, but he knew whatever Edward did was for his own good. He probably realized that it wasn useless to ask these questions, and hopefully Jasper thought Edward wasn’t ignoring him.
When Jasper saw Edward move swiftly towards the lion, he backed up towards a tree. Slowly, he sunk towards the ground and watched in dispair as Edward punctured the lion with his teeth. He didn’t realize that Edward had turned look back at him, he was to busy looking on the ground. Thinking of why he can’t control himself. Why wasn’t he able to prove to everyone that he can neglect the blood of any human. He didn’t like to think that he will hurt anyone, and he especially didn’t want to hurt Bella. Especially after the tracker, James, coming to town. Carlisle making Jasper go pick up Bella from her quick visit with Jacob Black, while Edward and Alice was out hunting. He spent some alone time with Bella, and actually got very comfortable with her. If only Edward knew what they had done that night.
He shoved his hands through his blonde hair and sighed. He brought his black eyes back up and saw Edward’s warm smile, and the dead lion in his hands. Jasper shook his head, and looked away. “No, I sort of lost my appetite, Edward. I just have a lot on my mind, and it really doesn’t help having you rumage through it. I would rather just sit it out and talk about it, if that is okay with you. Feeding can happen later,” he said, pursing his lips together. Who knew confronting his own brother would be so hard.

Have faith, hope a little. Remembering that; If there is a will there will be a way. The seeking of others help, will not help you. What you're longing for, they're yours already. Now take it. This is the journey. That you alone, must venture on your own. I have come to give you, what you need. But now we've passed the line, a line that I no longer need to pursue. Now enter; Your future, destiny and life awaits. Edward looked at Jasper with astonished anger. Knowing, that he had been so close to Bella for a enough time to give in to his whats and needs. Had he not made it clear enough to his brother that he should stay away?. From all humans, even more; to stay away from his girl? Edward still looked at his brother. Looking for any reason behind it all. Yet he again, was surprised in disbelief. Jasper's mind was only occupied with keeping this secret away from him. Did he not trust Edward? Did he forget that Edward would find out eventually? Or was he just plain, reckless?Edward refused to be upset with his brother. There was no reason to be. Or so, he kept telling himself. Edward trusted Jasper, just like normal brothers would. Although, if you did put that trust in jeopardy there would be consequences. After all, they were nothing like normal brothers. Jasper may not be able to see the future, like Alice could. But he certainly should've seen this coming. " When we planning to tell me? Or were you not planning to tell me, at all? Better yet, were you still finding a reasonable date to give me the message?" Edward said casually, trying to hide to disappointment in his voice. Disappointed because his brother could not tell him. Disappointed because he could not trust him? He decided to look elsewhere, to prevent Jasper from feeling awkward and like he was being put on the spot. He decided to stare at the grass. Crouching down, and picking little pieces off with his chalk, pale hands. He looked up. Staring at Jasper momentarily. " Why are you so afraid? Is it even fear at all?" Edward mused. " Brother, you may be given the gift to 'feel'," he laughed, hoping to end his brothers disclosure. " And... I might not know what you're feeling, but I can see it in your eyes. If you're trying to hide it. Your doing a very poor job." Edward smiled, a warm hearted smile. " So since, you know all about emotions. Care to elaborate on yours?"
