Coping isn't the hardest part of the life I and my family have chosen, it is resisting. Resisting the one thing that we can not exist without, the one thing we long for, the very essence of our life... blood. Although, we suppress the longing for the pure and finest somehow we still survive, but just. As Edward, gathered his belongings and headed his way to the cafeteria he could hear the chatterings of his fellow schoolmates. Talking about their plans- school work, weekends, the ones whom they desire and want. And of course the inner truth. The thoughts they have considered but would not speak of. But as usual he blocked the thoughts of those who did not matter. To Edward all these voices/thoughts were just buzzing until he completely focused on specific ones, it was easier than accidentally answering to something they did not say. It helped him to be more normal. But obviously, Edward was not normal... nowhere near it. As he approached the usual table that him and his brothers Emmet and Jasper and sisters, Rosalie and Alice choose to sit at. He remembered to collect food from the canteen line, not to eat but to use as a prop. Yet again, to seem "normal". Edward and his family were particularly good at trying to blend in. Food to them was tolerable, but did them no satisfaction what so ever. After all, they only had one thing in mind. He sat down, next to Jasper and Rosalie, played with the donut he had placed on his tray and pretended to chew. It was tolerable... At that; a girl perhaps a senior, walked passed and flicked her hair to one of her many admirers. Indeed her admirers were impressed but so was Jasper... Jasper, the newest member of our family and not particularly fond of our eating lifestyle was impressed. But not in the way the human girls admirers were, but in his way. He was thirsty and the flicking of her hair did not help the situation, it just intensified it. Edward automatically read his brothers thoughts. He wasn't disappointed for he was expecting it, Jasper was thinking of ways to get this girl alone with him so he could quench his thirst. These thoughts of his, made Jasper even more thirsty. He was no longer thirsty for her, he was craving for girl. Immediately, Edward kicked his brothers foot and quickly received a response. "I'm sorry," he mouthed so that no one else could see and he wouldn't have to go through the humiliation. But poor Jasper, although he was evidently sincere his thoughts still pursued the girl. Edward knew he would have to keep a close eye on his brother until they arrived home altogether.

The temptation of pulling her from aside and attacking emerged. Her scent, her fragrence, her tormenting skills. I craved for longing, for her blood. But, if I pleased this craving, I would be a murderer. Something I was in the past. A murderer. How would my family approve of me then? He watched as the girl walked by the table where his family was. What was she trying to do impress them, torment them with her fragrence smell that lingered in her blood. She was winning. Her lucious locks were flowing behind her and when she flipped her hair towards the table, he got a huge wiff of the cherry blossom scent. His nostrals flared and he watched the girl, not even realizing that his brother was on his way over. He was truly the weakest link of the bunch, and it bothered him because he didn’t like it. He hated the fact that everytime a girl did that he would react compared to the others. That’s what happens everytime, he gets aroused. Jasper Hale. The southerner from Texas, who had flowing blonde hair and every aspect of being a vampire. The pale skin, the topaz eyes, occasionally the purple circles, and the impectable beauty. He watched as the girl who tried to get their attention walk off. Boy, did she get the attention of one. He pursed his lips together and his mind began to wonder towards a way to kill her. I could manipulate her to go into the gym, turn off the lights, and destory her there. But, the gym teacher could see that, and that would mean I need to kill him as well. Well, I could get her to come with me after class, I know she won’t be able to resist me. Dam- girls! Why do they do this to me. he thought to himself, not knowing that his brother had arrived at the table. The mind-reader brother. Edward Cullen. He felt the presence of Edward rumaging through his thoughts, and wasn’t surprised to feel his emotion and reaction of how he was handling the thirst situation. His eyes never moved away from the girl and his mind was racing to the attacking of the girl. He wanted to kill her so badly. Then, he felt something to bring his attention back to the table. A strong, hard rock kick in the leg. Jasper moved his eyes over to see who had done it, and surprisingly it was his brother Edward. He looked stern and quite disappointed that Jasper couldn’t handle this and he apologized. Jasper let out a soft growl that only his family members could here. “For once, why can’t I handle this,” he said softly, leaning back in his chair with his arms acrossed his chest. If anyone was going to help Jasper get through this terrible moment, it was definitely going to be Edward. Alice would have helped, but being with her just made his mind go even more wild. It was that secret somewhat relationship. Emmett was just immature at some points, so it was hard. He could turn to Rosalie, but that was kind of hard to do. She sometimes didn’t listen. Jasper didn’t want Carlisle or Esme to get involved either, so his bronze haired brother was his only option. I do need to talk to you, Edward. After school, I will need to have a talk with you. This is bugging me to death. Why can’t I do this? he thought in his mind, trying to let Edward get the message. It wasn’t that hard to see his brother listening to his thoughts, but it wasn’t soothing either. Jasper was very tense because of everything that had happened. [[Hey, don't forget I have made one for us in the Forrest section. If you want to reply to that one too. ]]

Helpless and lost. You seek the the help, of the ones closest to you. Help has many different forms. Many different aspects and it varies. You come to me. I shall not refuse. I will not let you down. Never give up. Never back down. For I am, by your side. Edward had read Jasper's thoughts like an open book. He wanted to talk, so he will definitely get nothing less, than his full attention. Edward nodded, making it clear to his brother and to no one else; that he had accepted the invitation to talk privately. He was not in the mood for learning today. It wasn't regular habit that Edward skipped classes. He only did it when he thought it necessary for not only himself, but for his family too. In this situation, he believed his family would benefit. A private chat with his newest brother might just do the trick to his disappointment in himself. Right after the bell rang, he ran after Jasper. "I think it would be best if we talked while the rest are in school."He muttered, not facing his blonde haired brother. Making it seem as if they were not even interacting with each other. "Unless of course, you would prefer it another time?" Edward continued, questioning him. He walked off heading towards the front office. After all, unless Jasper wanted everyone else knowing the situation he was in. Or the what he was carrying on his shoulders, he would be wise to go along with it. But of course, sooner or later Alice would find out. But for now, it was just between them. The two different brothers. Edward walked past the office, heading towards his silver Volvo. He trusted his brother enough to leave him alone, if he did not wish to talk now. All the pressure that Jasper had placed on himself surely, would make him think twice before persueing the senior girl. There he sat, waiting for his lost brother. And trusting.

The thought of being weak, bother the passionate soul inside. I, depressed, distraught, and lonely, at how my actions has overcomed the person I am. My heart pounds, but I can't feel it. The burning sensation is impossible to overcome. I seek. You help. Our confrontation might give me a new light on this living. Your words are meaningful, I take them with me. I don't know if I could have ever done this with out you. You, my brother, the one who lends me the hand. And I, the killer, never gives you anything in return. Ashamed, I am. Jasper looked down at the table where his untouched food laid. He didn’t eat human food, if he did he would gag it right back up. His body was meant to have blood, blood of any creature. He hated having the feeling that he will lose at anything, well besides beating Emmett at Need for Speed, that was a piece of cake to him. But, when it came to craving for blood, he was just to weak to resist not having a taste of a human. Especially, a human girl. It was even worse when Edward was hanging around Bella Swan. He stood up with pride and looked over at Alice, who wasn’t looking at any of them. Only scanning the room. Then, carefully he looked back at Edward and saw a slight nod. So, Edward was going to meet up with him to talk. Thank you, my dear brother. he thought. Jasper quickly grabbed the tray in front of him and snaked his way in grabbing Alice’s tray. He was always a gentlemen and would take her tray to the lunch lady, who always seemed suspicious at why they never ate.
Slowly and depressed, Jasper walked over to the lady and handed her the trays. “Thank you, Jasper. Being a gentlemen again, I see,” the lunch lady smiled out as he dumped the trays. “Yes, Ma’am. Have a nice day,” he spoke out softly. Deep down he knew he wasn’t going to have a good day. He almost attacked a member of the student body, which could have killed the entire student body and with that, he would have had to kill himself because of it. He went back to the table to sit down and twidled his thumbs. But, when he heard giggling he looked over and saw Bella Swan staring up at the table, and Jessica Stanley leaning in towards her. He felt a small nudge come from Alice, and he looked up at the clock. The bell was soon to ring. “Let’s get it over with now, Edward,” he replied, softly as he stood up again.
Jasper had been thinking of skipping classes today, and run straight home. So, he slipped on his jacket and began to the office. “Good afternoon, Mr. Hale, can I help you?” the lady at the front office asked. “Yes, Ma’am. I was wondering if I could get a pass, so I can go home. I am feeling a little queezy,” Jasper spoke with ease. Also, persuading her. “Certainly, I will send a note to your final classes, so you won’t get in trouble dear. Just make sure you get your notes from your classmates. Get well, Jasper,” the woman said calmly, as she handed him a note to leave.
He began to walk out of the building towards the parking lot, looking down at the ground. Surprisingly, he saw his bronze-haired, dangly brother standing against his Volvo. Why didn’t he have a car, why was it only them? It didn’t matter, he had two legs and could run. But, Edward was staring straight at him in a discomfort sort of way. He gave out a breatheless sigh and shoved his hands in his jacket as he walked towards the Volvo. Well, the good news was he was getting it over with but he really wanted to run away from this. It bothered him so much, he couldn’t handle it.
Jasper stopped in front of his brother, and sighed. “I think this might be easier if we weren’t on school property, Edward. I really hate myself for my actions and display in the cafeteria today. I would like to run from the fear of students coming out of here, and getting carried away again. Running makes me feel like a coward, but dear brother, I don’t see any other way. We need to be alone, and out of the school grounds. Can we?” he said, still looking down at the ground. The wind had picked up and his lucious locks were flying everywhere. But, he felt miserable, how was his brother; the one he knew could help him the most without making it some kind of joke react to his thoughts, to his words, to his past?
